By Emma Grillo | June 17, 2022, 12:00 a.m. ET

By the time that Konstantinos Dean Dafis introduced himself to George Symmonds Forbes in November 2010, it seemed to Mr. Dafis like he was running into Mr. Forbes almost every weekend.

Divergent band dynamics led them to break up, ironically enough, as their “Colossus” LP was just about to come out and this being the 30th Anniversary of such a monumental release; I decided to ask everyone involved what they remember about the album making process and their thought decades after the fact.

The New York Times: “ABC No Rio Fondly Recalls the Saturdays of Its Gritty Youth”
By Charles Curkin | May 3, 2015
Destruction is a New York tradition. There was the beloved Pennsylvania Station, designed by McKim, Mead & White; destroyed in 1963. The Solomon’s Temple of punk rock, CBGB, that couldn’t be saved from closure in 2006; replaced by an upscale fashion boutique. The Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Hoffman Auto Showroom at 430 Park Avenue; disemboweled by developers in 2013. The list goes on and on.
